The Power of Ugliness in a Beautiful Life
A poem about the Ugly
Heaven on earth is what we seek, but we forget that there is beauty in the ugly.
Oh, how life would be if there was no ugly.
No struggle, just everything
we need was guaranteed.
Ya know the type of
Certainty that only a God can see.
How foolish we must be to think beauty is all we need.
When in fact, It’s the ugly that gives life meaning, purpose, and something to test our capabilities.
For if everything was determined and we had no spontaneity
life would be a solved puzzle that had no intrinsic meaning.
We’re here on earth to develop our souls. We’re here to experience the whole range of emotions that come with being a human being.
By no means shall we chase perfection but instead pursue wholeness.
So whenever you’re feeling down, remember you chose to be on this earth at this exact time to develop your eternal soul and return to the divine realms we come from.
